LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Welcome to the Emerson School Parent Teacher Association!
Everyone is welcome to join the PTA: teachers, parents, relatives and community members. To make each school year successful, we need our Emerson Community to work closely with our teachers, staff, parents and students. Thank you to everyone who has donated time, money and resources to build a successful PTA.
We appreciate any help, as we are always in need of volunteers. We are open to any availability, from just cutting and stapling items at home to an hour or two of your time during school or after.
Just by joining yearly to the PTA for $5, you are helping pay our state dues and allow us continue as an Illinois State Parent Teacher Association. Thank you for your yearly membership!
We look forward to continuing our after-school programs, dances, book fairs, birthday books as well as many other activities for our community and students to enjoy.

PTA is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the nation. Our members represent the ethnic diversity of our nation, and they come from the ranks of traditional families, single-parent households, blended families, grandparents, and other caring adults. Together we continue to serve as the conscience of the country for children and youth.
